On September (insert date here) Dr. Bill Saunders, Director of the Center for Human Rights, took his M.A. in Human Rights students to the Victims of Communism Museum in Washington, DC. In this picture, Dr. Saunders, the Museum’s President Eric Patterson (to the left of Dr. Saunders), and the M.A. students stand in front of a replica of “The Goddess of Democracy,” a statue that was erected at the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989. The students also visited the museum’s current exhibit on tyranny in Venezuela.
